Baltimore, MD,  February 19, 2024 — Pilgrimage for Peace, a delegation of multi-faith organizations including Faith for Black Lives, National Council of the Churches of Christ in the USA, Rabbis for Ceasefire, the Council on American-Islamic Relations Philadelphia Chapter (CAIR-Pennsylvania), Fellowship of Reconciliation, Hindus for Human Rights, and more than 60 other co-sponsoring organizations, are continuing their 8-day transformative journey from Philadelphia, PA to Washington, DC calling for the release of all hostages, an increase in humanitarian aid in Gaza, and a permanent ceasefire. This pilgrimage has grown to include more than 350 faith leaders, activists, and artists who have joined this movement to urge President Biden and Congress to act for peace.

What: Pilgrimage for Peace Baltimore Rally and Interfaith Prayer Service


When: Monday, February 19, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. (ET) 


Where: Payne Memorial AME Church, located at 1714 Madison Ave, Baltimore, MD 21217


Why: Participants in the Pilgrimage for Peace, will arrive in Baltimore after traveling from Philadelphia on Ash Wednesday, February 14. It will be a service to pray for the last leg of the journey to the nation’s capital to urge immediate and urgent action to end the war in Gaza.  Faith leaders from across the region are planning to be a part of the service.
