UUWashington, D.C., February 21, 2024 — A multi-faith coalition of faith leaders, activists, and artists including Faith for Black Lives, National Council of the Churches of Christ in the USA, Rabbis for Ceasefire, the Council on American-Islamic Relations Philadelphia Chapter (CAIR-Pennsylvania), Fellowship of Reconciliation, Hindus for Human Rights, and more than 70 other co-sponsoring organizations, are gearing up to complete their more than 150-mile Pilgrimage for Peace from Philadelphia, PA, to Washington, D.C. that began February 14. Pilgrimage for Peace urges the United States government to call for a peaceful resolution in Gaza that upholds the principles of justice and compassion. Over 350 Pilgrims have registered for this movement.
