Jesus said to them, “The light is in you for a little longer. Walk while you have the light, so that the darkness may not overtake you. If you walk in the darkness, you do not know where you are going.
Gracious God, giver of life, as we enter this season of Advent, we rejoice and celebrate again the gift of Jesus, light of Your light. As His followers, may we also be bearers of Your light. May we let Your light shine through and shatter the darkness in our world brought about by hate, bigotry, violence, and evil acts, and usher in Your peace, joy, love, and justice. Amen.
