Powerful and righteous God, You are holy. You are kind. You are faithful. We, Your children, come before You humbled by our smallness of stature in the midst of Your grand creation and Your overwhelming, loving will for Your world. We confess that we regularly put our focus on our own wants and desires, and the result is competition, selfishness, and dividing walls. Forgive us, we pray. Free us for joyful obedience to Your way of Love. Fill our hearts with Your wisdom, so that we might model the light You want to bring into Your world. Mold us into peacemakers. Help us to be Your devoted followers with our witness and with our very lives. Our prayer is in the name of Jesus the Christ. Amen.
