Lord, we take hold to Your perpetual promise of peace. Knowing that the peace You give Your children is covenantal and not contractual grounds us, even in the most trying times. While people and things may fall away, Your word is ever present and all sufficient. Grant us the mental fortitude to never forget Your word. May it forever be inscribed on the tablets of our hearts, giving us reassurance in seasons of doubt, unrest, and turmoil. We remain ever so grateful that You are a covenant-keeping God! Amen.
