Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God
Good and Gracious God, God of Love and God of Peace, we humbly come to You in faith asking for Your strength, wisdom, and guidance. We learn in Matthew’s Gospel that peacemakers will be called Children of God. This call to be/become peacemakers demands fierce intention. We are called to make peace, to bring peace, and to embody peacefulness. Doing so requires Your presence and power. Lord, we come to You seeking Your wisdom on how to be consistent and transformative vessels of peace. Please give us wisdom, please give us guidance, please correct us, and dare we say… Lord, chase us until we are the makers of peace.
