Part of those negotiations include the possibility of deep, painful cuts to social safety net programs that would cause suffering to millions. We invite you to tell Congress to pass a clean debt ceiling bill that does not cut programs that support families, children, seniors, and veterans.
On Tuesday May 30, call 202-224-3121 TWICE and ask to speak to your Senator each time. Our message: raise the debt ceiling with no cuts to Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) !
